Reductil

Reductil BoxReductil is a prescription-only appetite suppressant that contains the anti-obesity drug Sibutramine. Reductil is the European brand name for Sibutramine which is produced by the pharmaceutical company Abbot Laboratories. The market name in the US and Canada is Meridia.

Reductil is prescription-only for a reason as it is a pharmaceutically produced medical drug used for the treatment of obesity. It is not natural or herbal but is made up of pharmaceutically produced chemicals. It is a powerful drug that must only be taken under medical supervision as it can have some unpleasant side-effects.

How Reductil Works

Sibutramine, the active ingredients in Reductil, is a neurotransmitter reuptake inhibitor that reduces the reuptake of serotonin by 53%. Studies show that the reduced reuptake of serotonin can reduce appetite. The FDA approved the use of Sibutramine as a treatment drug for obesity in 1997.

В My Opinion

Reductil is not the diet pill for you if you only have a few pounds to lose. It is intended for clinically obese and your doctor will only prescribe it to you if you have a BMI over 30. Some doctors will only prescribe it if you have a BMI over 40 as they believe that it should only be used as a last resort once other treatments, such as diet and exercise, have been exhausted.

Reductil is prescription strength for a reason and should only be taken after much discussion with your GP. Do not buy this drug off the internet. It is illegal to sell Reductil and it you do see it being sold, it is through the illegal black market. No doubt the product will be counterfeit and dangerous for your health.

Alternatives to Reductil

An effective herbal alternative to Reductil is Hoodia Gordonni which is an all-natural appetite suppressant.
